Happy Easter

This is such a special day! A glorious day to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord-Jesus Christ. He paid the ultimate price so I never have to be crucified for my own sins. Thanks to our special guest, Bro Brian Watson of Wabash, IN. You hve reminded us that our confidence is in Him, and no other. We can have confidence in His death, burial, and resurrection for our salvation; and from there we can have that same confidence for all other matters in our lives. Bro Jerry Martin spoke about the cross also. Then Sis Karen helped us understand the meaning of the folded napkin in John 20:6-7. It was placed a certain way to let us know that Jesus IS returning! Pastor Jamen challenged us about our cross experience. What did you get? A Souvenier or a Savior?
Thanks to all who came to celebrate with us: we had 5 guests-two were first time guests. Again--thank you for coming to join us on this special day.

Conference

What a move of GOD??!! He is so Powerful and Awesome. The 1st FourPlus Conference was an unforgettable experience. Pastor Doug Wilson of E Famil Church spoke on Wednesday night (Jan 21) about Worship. How do we worship; how should we worship. On Thursday (Jan 22), Pastor Jamen Nicholson of Revelation Way Fellowship talked about The Source of the River of the Spirit. What is the source?--Sacrifice! Time, Money, Deeds, Family, any thing that takes away from God-we must sacrifice. On Friday (Jan 23) Pastor Edwin Gomez of Heart of Compassion Church, spoke to our hearts about Preparing for Eternity. Are you (we) prepared to meet Jesus? How can I be prepared? What must I do? Then on Saturday, we were blessed to have a special dance group from San Bernardino come to worship with us. It was so great to see the youth speaking out about Jesus! After the dance, Pastor Brad Dennis of The Body let us know some of the rewards of being a follower of the gospel. It is not only our deeds. It is about walking in the Spirit and those who will be rewarded and what those rewars are.
